A Message from our Founder, Rick Murray


I was about 7 when my dad came to town and asked if I would like to spend the evening with him at Cattleman’s Steakhouse. I was raised in Mesquite and I’m full blood Texan. I knew early on, the mystique of a night at Cattleman’s in downtown Dallas. Clothing was going to be a bit of a problem and my lack of tableside knife skills was going to be an even bigger one. One thing was certain; I would not be kept from a night with my Dad and me, both, quietly wrestling with one of Cattleman’s famous T-Bone steaks. No sauce, no bibs, no fooling around.

This Saturday night Dad will come to my restaurant in Winnsboro, ciboVino Italian, and have his usual; Veal Chop, rare. I’ll stop at his table to make certain he’s satisfied. I’m sure he has no idea what his enjoying that chop means to me.

I’m sure you too have had a similar experience at a restaurant. After all it’s our way of entertaining our mind and body at the same time. We all have aromas and little sounds that take us back to a special time in our lives, some of them from school, some from work, and many with our friends enjoying a great meal and making memories that will live on with us forever.

At ciboVino Steaks we will help you create good memories with prime steaks and chops ranging from petite 6 oz dry aged filet Mignon with crab and butter sauce to a Bankers cut of Prime Rib served with a light Au Jus and fresh Horseradish dip made in-house. We’ll have the best salads such as a classic Wedge with apple cured bacon and blue cheese, Caesar tossed table side or the Chef with fresh sliced red onions and house made Ranch dressing. Sides will be perfect and the desserts will be even better. Have you ever enjoyed a slice of southern Alabama Black Bottom Pie with a nice hot cup of coffee to end a meal? You will be able to at ciboVino Steaks. A great selection of wine and an open fire oven will be waiting for you to arrive.

My team and I intend to create an atmosphere at ciboVino Steaks that will be warm, friendly, classy and so cool as to be addictive. The best service, the best food, the best customers and the best memories.
